Kundalini & Gong Bath
Join Alysia and Dana on a transformative afternoon of connecting to your true divine nature through Kundalini and the sounds of Gloria. We will move the body through a 45-minute class incorporating a kriya (set of movement) & meditation, and then relax & surrender to the sounds of the gongs. To close out the afternoon we will ground and clear in the Salt Well.
Kundalini yoga is a style of yoga practiced to release dormant energy coiled up at the base of the spine to enhance your awareness and begin to move past the ego. Movement, breathwork, mudras and meditation are all incorporated into this beautiful practice to help let go of what no longer serves you. Working with the chakras and the meridian systems we will work through trauma, promoting emotional balance and opening the space to truly tune in.
Sound has a powerful influence on our lives and it can be very therapeutic, helping us clear blockages and return to balance. The intricate overtones and effortless flow of sounds from the gong can help to reduce stress, improve blood pressure, and stimulate creativity, memory and focus. The beautiful vibrational sounds emitted from Gloria make every cell dance again supporting an overall peaceful mood.
Salt is known for its anti-bacterial and immune boosting benefits, as well as having a profound effect on the parasympathetic nervous system. When incorporated into a practice of movement, meditation, and breathwork, it has an incredibly effective way of triggering the rest & digest state, allowing the body & mind to connect on an even deeper level.
